The Sam Burnett history.
Born in Kettering on 2nd June 1984 six whole weeks early when his parents were on a day trip, Sam Burnett has been talking about himself in the third person ever since.
Brought up in the heady metropolises of Milton Keynes and then Coventry, Sam studied at the prestigious King Henry VIII School thanks to a scholarship and his child prodigy status. Like Aled Jones, this was something he quickly grew out of. A stint at Bangor University beckoned after a gap year working on a farm in Germany.
A BA (Hons, v. important) in German, MA in journalism from Coventry and a stint in parliament later, Sam is now the deputy editor of Driving magazine in Croydon. Widely acknowledged as a terrible driving, Sam nevertheless reviews the latest cars and does all sorts of other fun crap.
Sam Burnett is the author of no books, and currently lives in London with no wife and several non-existent cats. He can be emailed here.
